Super Charged Vegan Overnight Oats

My key to living a healthy lifestyle all comes down to one word SIMPLICITY. It can't be complicated or you won't stick to it. That's where overnight oats come in. These plant powered kick-starters are a great asset to my morning routine. Why? Because I prepare 2-3 of them for the days ahead, open the fridge to grab one, and off I go to enjoy the day while filled with quality nutrients and energy! Here's my go-to recipe:

SUPER CHARGED VEGAN OVERNIGHT OATS

Create layers within a mason jar as seen in the photos of:

Gluten Free Rolled Oats
Chia Seeds
Maca Powder (supports healthy bone structure, stress levels and increased energy)
Cacao Powder (high in magnesium, fibre, zinc)
Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
Banana (mashed)
Hemp Hearts
Maple Syrup
Almond Milk (homemade whenever possible) 
 

ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL)

Banana
Blueberries
Cacao Nibs

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Add ingredients into mason jar with desired amounts (confession, I prefer to eyeball ingredients).
  • Put lids onto mason jars, shake, and put into the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • When ready, top with desired toppings to eat right out of the jar, or sit down for breakfast in a bowl with.
