Health benefits of Hummus
Almond meal hummus has all the benefits of almonds and chickpeas which are both high in protein and fibre and are loaded with vitamins and minerals. I love enjoying hummus as a dip but also as a spread on crackers or rice cakes topped with hemp seeds.
What You'll Need
Blend almond meal with water until smooth, add the rest of ingredients and blend until smooth.
1 cup dehydrated almond pulp meal or 1 1/2 wet pulp
3/4 cup cold water
1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1/3 cup (60g) tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice fresh
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 clove (6g) garlic
4 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
